Dough Momma is a made to order bakery based in Wellington NZ founded by me, Brandie Stephens. Born and raised in the USA, I moved to Wellington with my family in 2008. When my first Thanksgiving rolled around I found a lack of traditional sweet pies. So I made my own, shared those pies with fellow expats and Dough Momma was born! Since then Dough Momma has expanded into making American style cakes, cookies, and cinnamon rolls, all things fun to share with others.

A former video games producer, I always dreamed of having my own bakery and have found it’s truly my happy place. I like to make things that are simple and nostalgic but taste great. You won’t find fondant or fancy writing on my goods but you’ll always find something delicious, for any occasion. I always use high quality ingredients. I love sourcing local ingredients and seasonal produce from around this island and supporting other local businesses.
